A big name for a big horse with an even bigger heart. A true gentle giant. 

“Dooley,” who is often fondly referred to as “Red,” is a gelded, muscular Quarter Horse with a kind and gentle spirit who weighs 1000 pounds and stands 15 h high. He is handsome, smart, and tries hard to please everyone he comes into contact with. He is part of Dayspring’s Western Pleasure training program.

Cocoa is a Nubian donkey. Nubian donkeys are known for the cross shaped pattern on their back. The Nubian donkey also was the breed of donkey that carried Jesus.

“Essie” is a registered red roan, mare Cutting Bred Quarter Horse. She is 12 years old, weighs 1200 pounds and stands 15.1 h high. She has gentle, expressive eyes and has a lovely, people-pleasing manner about her. She is a sweetheart and is part of Dayspring’s training program to become a lesson horse.

Star is a very kind hearted horse. He has a strong will, but is very gentle with people. 

“Rusty” is a registered sorrel, smooth-gaited Missouri Fox Trotter who is 15-year-old, weighs 1100 pounds and stands 15 h high. He has a sweet, gentle spirit with a genuine lovable quality. He is part of Dayspring’s Therapeutic program.

“Star Struck Marigold,” a retired show horse, is a palomino mare Miniature horse. She is 8 years old and weighs 250 pounds and stands 33 inches tall. She loves being around people, being groomed, and given tons of attention and affection by both the young and old! She is part of Dayspring’s mobile Senior Citizen’s Facilities Animal Therapy care program.

 Milo has a large personality to him. He has a very playful nature and a surprise interest in your t-shirt.

“Major,” whose registered name is “Modern All Spiced Up,” is a gelded, bay, registered Shetland pony who is 6-years-old, weighs 250 pounds and stands 10.2 h high. He has 2 different colored eyes, his right eye is blue and his left eye is brown. He is smart and attentive, very loving, gentle, and trained to pull a cart!
